By submitting this form, you agree to use any funding awarded solely for the category for which you applied and have been approved for. You acknowledge that any potential tax implications in accepting these funds are your sole responsibility to determine and follow all rules and regulations in accordance with applicable tax laws. APIA Scholars does not provide any tax guidance. APIA Scholars is not responsible for any damages or claims that result from your receipt or use of this funding. 

You understand you will be required to submit receipts demonstrating how any funds awarded were used. You must ensure submitted receipts reflect the amount given as closely as possible and are itemized demonstrating your use of funds for the approved purpose. Funds explicitly designated towards providing food assistance are exempt from this requirement. You understand it is your responsibility to submit the appropriate receipts to APIA Scholars in a timely manner after receiving and using the funds. 

You acknowledge that APIA Scholars is not responsible for the terms, conditions, or experiences associated with your career development opportunity. You understand that you are solely responsible for any additional expenses beyond the funding awarded and for ensuring that all funds are used in compliance with the program guidelines.

You understand you will be required to submit a written report detailing your career development experience upon completion. APIA Scholars may also offer optional engagement opportunities, such as sharing photos or participating in virtual meetings with fellow or future recipients. Additional program expectations and engagement opportunities may be introduced, and recipients will be notified in advanced of any required commitments.
